چکیده
The study was focused on the preparation and characterizations of sodium periodate-modified nanocellulose (NaIO4-NC) prepared from Eichhornia crassipes for removal cationic methylene blue (MB) dye wastewater (WW). A chemical method used NaIO4-NC. NaIO4-NC adsorbent characterized by using X-ray diffraction (XRD), Fourier transform infrared (FTIR), scanning electron microscope (SEM), energy-dispersive (EDX), Brunauer–Emmett–Teller (BET) instruments. Next, it tested to adsorption MB WW batch experiments. process performed Langmuir Freundlich isotherm models with maximum efficiency (qmax) 90.91 mg·g−1 percent color 78.1% at optimum 30 mg·L−1, 60 min., 1 g, 8 values initial concentration, contact time, dose, solution pH, respectively. Pseudo-second-order (PSO) kinetic model well fitted through chemisorption process. spontaneous feasible thermodynamic because Gibbs free energy value negative. After adsorption, decreased physicochemical parameters were observed in addition removal. From regeneration study, is possible conclude that recyclable reused as 13 successive cycles without significant efficient loss.

Removal of methylene blue from aqueous solutions using modified clay
Introduction: Discharging of industrial colored wastewaters especially into aqueous environments can cause adverse effects on aquatic life due to their toxic natures. In this study, montmorillonite modified by hexadecyltrimethyl ammonium bromide (HDTMA-Mt) was used for the adsorption of methylene blue (MB). Materials and Methods: The influence of surfactant loading rate, contact time, pH, adso...
